If your GMBK 75% unit is not working when plugged into a console, you need to update the firmware of the keyboard via our CORE 2.1 Software. The steps for this process can be found below:
1.) Download our CORE 2.1 Software here and install it on your PC.
2.) Run the software as an admin and ensure the keyboard is plugged into your PC.
3.) Select the GMBK 75% from the CORE home screen.
4.) Click the “Update Available” message in the top right corner of the Software.
5.) Once the firmware update window has appeared, click Ok to update your device.
6.) Once the update has completed, click Ok once more and restart the Software.
7.) The keyboard’s firmware version should now be updated.
8.) Proceed to reset the keyboard. This can be done by pressing and holding FN + ESC, then F1 + F3 + F5 (Hold all five keys for ~10 seconds). The keyboard’s RGB should flash indicating the unit has been reset.
9.) Turn on your console and connect the keyboard. You now need to switch the keyboard to 6-Key rollover mode. This can be done by pressing FN + N (the RGB will flash if done properly). After switching, your GMBK 75% keyboard should be good to go!
