  • Are the microphone booms interchangeable between the GHS Eternal and GHS Eternal RGB?

    • Yes, the microphone booms are interchangeable. The GHS Eternal microphone boom does not however have RGB on it unlike the GHS Eternal RGB

  • Does the RGB lighting on the GHS Eternal RGB work with the 3.5mm jack?

    • No, you will need to use the provided USB-C cable for the RGB to work.

  • Can I use any USB-C cable for the GHS Eternal RGB?

    • No, you would need to use a USB-C cable that allows data transmission.

  • How do I quickly turn the RGB lighting on and off when using the GHS Eternal RGB?

    • This can be done by pressing and holding the knob on the left ear cup for a couple of seconds or changed in the Software. 

  • Why is my GHS Eternal RGB not showing up in the Software?

    • The headset will need to be connected to your system via the provided USB-C cable.

    • You will also need to install the Realtek audio drivers which should be prompted when installing CORE 2.1.15 or newer.

  • My headset volume is low on the GHS Eternal RGB, how do I increase it?

    • Please check your Game/Chat balance on the device. This can be adjusted using the knob on the left ear cup or within the Software.

  • What do the left and right knobs do on the GHS Eternal RGB headset?

    • The left knob controls your Game/Chat audio balance.

    • The right knob controls the volume of the headset.

  • Is the GHS Eternal supported by CORE 2.1?

    • No, only the GHS Eternal RGB is supported by CORE 2.1. 

  • My GHS Eternal audio is not working on Windows.

    • Ensure you select the Headphone option when the modal window below pops up in Windows after connecting the headset via the 3.5mm jack. 


  • Why is my GHS Eternal microphone not working on my PC?

    • If you’re using the GHS Eternal on a PC or laptop, you’d need a combo audio jack to use the headphones and microphone at the same time. Combo audio jacks can often be identified by the small headset (different from headphone) icon.

    • If your computer doesn’t have a combo audio jack, you’d need an audio splitter to get the microphone working.
